REAL-TIME PCR PROBES LIGHTCYCLER
The LightCycler® Probes are synthesized with processes licensed by Roche. Unlike 5 'nuclease chemistry where the probe is cut to generate fluorescence (hydrolysis assays), the LightCycler® hybridization probe system is based on two oligonucleotide probes that hybridize, in a head-to-tail arrangement, to adjacent DNA sequences target (hybridization test). Each probe carries a different indicator dye, the first probe is 3 'Fluorescein, the second can be: 5'LC®610, 5'LC®640, 5`LC®670 or 5'LC®705.
